Methuen Village at Riverwalk Park

Methuen Village Assisted and Memory Care is a beautiful community, the facility has a river that is very impressive with the sounds of birds, and the sound of water set in a backdrop of woods. it is a clean and friendly facility, with lots of activities to keep you involved. The cook is amazing, and the dining room is quaint and very cozy. The staff is very friendly and hospitable, it is very welcoming. You will enjoy this place snuggled in Methuen.

My father was a resident here for 4 months after we had to put him on the compass unit because he has some dementia issues. I was very skeptical about this place at first but from the very first phone call I had with Stephanie the director I felt a lot better about having to place my dad here. Stephanie let me know that she understands that this is very hard to do but it is the best thing for my father and assured me dad will be taking care of and will be ok. Every time I visited I was always welcomed by the receptionist at the front desk as well as the staff at the front desk. I will say there were a few issues with my dads diet but they were handled by Stephanie immediately as soon as I brought them to Stephanie or one of the staff members attention and handled with the utmost professionalism. Wish dad could stay but he had to be moved. 100% they best assisted living facility around. Thank you Methuen Village! You guys are the best!!!

That place is nothing short of fantastic!! My father was recently a resident for a four month temporary stay and we wished he could have stayed longer before being transferred to the permanent facility. Their executive director Stephanie was amazing and helped us so much during a difficult time while we were making the transition to bringing him to Methuen Village. She was so warm & understanding and helped us during a very difficult transition. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for my family. She is simply the very best at what she does!! The staff at MV is outstanding and were so outgoing and helped my father feel right at home during his stay. The one thing that everyone wants to see with their family members at an assisted living facilty is genuine care from the staff, and MV is the apitomy of this. Anyone that has left a review under 5 stars for Methuen Village has simply not done their homework on all the facilities in the area because there is Methuen Village, and then there is everyone else. If my family ever puts me in a home, I sure hope they send me to Methuen Village lol!! Thanks for everything MV!!

I just want to express how pleased I am with the care my Mother is receiving at Methuen Village , she has a nice apartment and the staff is always there to help her and meet her needs. The building itself is clean, modern and well maintained . There are many activities for her to enjoy , she especially likes the yoga and the bus rides with Keith who makes every trip an adventure . The staff is professional and if I have any questions or concerns they are addressed in a timely manner. I could not be more pleased with the care my Mother receives at Methuen Village and more importantly she is happy living at Methuen Village. If you are looking for a place where your loved will be happy and well cared for I would recommend Methuen Village. Thank you Methuen Village , Tricia K.

Our family had a lot of choices when the decision came to my Aunt Mae’s next phase of her life. We did not want her to be confined to a bed awaiting the end of her journey. We wanted this next phase of her life to be full, active and surrounded by as much love and energy as possible. Methuen Village’s staff, Visiting doctors and admin are all on the same page as we are. From the first initial consultation with Terri Sullivan, to the amazing energy of Christina Cruz director of mental health activities...Mae has been in the best care and environment we could have ever hoped for!!! If you are looking for a love ones care from an assisted living facility we could not recommend them more as your first and last stop to explore...they are amazing and their caring knows no bounds!
