MorningStar at Jordan is such a beautiful community that truly provides excellent care to its residents. As an outside agency that comes in to provide Home Health and Hospice services, we get to see firsthand the level of compassion and dedication the team has for those who live there. It really starts with their leadership. Cindy, Becky, and Manuela lead with heart, kindness, and genuine compassion. Their love for the residents shines through in the way the entire team cares for and supports the community every day. We are grateful to partner with a community that puts residents first and creates such a warm, caring environment.

My parents moved into MorningStar Jordan in 2022. My mom died last year and my dad last month, both basically of old age at 96 and 101.They lived at two other assisted living facilities before moving into MorningStar Jordan. What sets MorningStar Jordan apart from the others is how much everyone on the staff cares about the residents. You feel it when you walk in and check in with the concierge, when you have questions or requests for the care staff, and when you talk to the dining room staff. The care staff is very responsive and keeps you informed. They check-in with residents more than required. I was always amazed that the dining room staff was keeping track of how much every resident was eating and foods they enjoyed. The activity staff was very engaged with the residents and their enthusiasm was contagious. Never once was I concerned about my parents living there. Definitely recommend.

Update: I cannot respond to MorningStar’s response to my review, so I will reply here. The fact that they have a record of my visit to their facility but no record of my family member staying at their Arapahoe & Jordan facility speaks for itself. Yes, she stayed at their facility for a little over a month. Enough said. They literally proved my point. I’m very sorry to see this and am deeply disappointed. Please do your research on what level of nursing your loved one needs before moving them into this facility. There is a HUGE disconnect between the nursing staff, management, and families. Our family member was only here a month and had bed sores when we moved her out, the nurses knew about it and didn’t tell the manager or our family. We were in the management office weekly about the care that was not being given on a daily basis. The nurses don’t tell the management about realistic patient needs or any change to their needs, and the management doesn’t check up on the nursing staff for updates and changes. Management does not relay important care information to families. Our family was NOT told at any time that our family member needed more intensive skilled nursing at a different facility. They neglected her, kept getting confused about her required meds, and did not give her the level of care she required at the time. Thank goodness we there on a daily basis to check on things and visit, other wise things might have taken a really bad turn. I do NOT recommend this facility unless your family member is highly functional, everything will slip through the cracks …
