My Mom is so happy at Manor House! It was a BIG decision to sell her home and move to Seaford from the Rehoboth area where she'd lived for the last 20+ years, but as soon as she arrived, she knew it was home. Everything she needs is right there for her. She loves the home-cooked meals, exercise classes, social activities, religious services, on-site thrift shop, and beautiful campus. And her neighbors are the most wonderful people. She describes them as "family." My brother and I have great peace of mind with the care she receives from the incredible staff. Shortly after her move in to a lovely independent living apartment, she had a medical emergency and spent a week at the hospital next door. When she returned, a spot in skilled nursing awaited her for recovery and rehab. Then she moved into assisted living, where she has remained for the last few years. The continuum of care has offered her security, stability, and great flexibility as her needs change. And we have been so happy with her care at every step along the journey. Her only regret is waiting so long to make the move!

My heartwarming impression of the Manor House started with all of the events that I attended before ever moving into this wonderful community. As we approached our move-in date, we had meetings with many staff members to review numerous details regarding financial commitments, selecting paint colors, flooring, cabinets and any upgrades we might have wanted. These staff members were extremely informative, patient and had our best interests at heart. On December 20, 2024 we finally moved into our new home. A photo of my husband and me was shown on the local in-house TV station welcoming us to the Manor House “family.” From that point on, we were welcomed and made to feel like we were at one big family reunion. Every single day, is a reminder that we made the best decision and solid investment in our future by moving to the Manor House.

I've been at Manor House for almost 5 months and have adopted the phrase "This is my Happy Place" as it tells the story for me. It took me months to decide, not unusual, and then lots of emotional and physical efforts to make the move, but with the help of a very supportive family and great flexibility from Manor House, I made it. I love my 'tiny' but totally perfect apartment, the many activities, a very loving and available staff, the grounds, the food, and the residents who are quickly becoming my other family. The icing on the cake is the availability of a caring and knowledgeable medical staff. I am blessed!

I love living here!.(8 1/2 years independent living) The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly, as well as being good at their jobs. We have a warm saltwater pool and well-equipped fitness center. There are lots of activates and trips. It is a friendly place – like a close-knit neighborhood. .

I have lived at the Manor House for 9 months after waiting for 3 years for an apartment. It has been the best decision I have ever made since my husband passed 5 years ago. The residents and employees are very friendly. I have met many friends and go to activities and functions with them. I love my apartment, and my Pomeranian is very happy as well. I can go and come whenever I want. I feel safe and know that if I become ill there is always someone to help. I encourage anyone married or single to come and check out our homes and get on the waiting list you won't regret your decision.
