This place is so amazing. They truly care about their residence. They go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of and safe. they also treat their patients with dignity and respect

Unprofessional staff - not equipped to handle any type of dementia patients. I would not recommend this environment for anyone’s loved ones, there are much better places.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Oakwood Terrace and their memory care program. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the compassion, patience, and dedication that the staff brings to their work every single day. They truly understand the unique needs of individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and they provide care that is both dignified and deeply personalized. The memory care team goes above and beyond to create a safe, structured, and comforting environment. They engage residents with meaningful activities, gentle redirection, and routines that promote independence while still offering the support each person needs. The residents have thrived here—smiling more, interacting more, and showing improvements in both mood and overall quality of life. Communication with families is outstanding. The staff keeps families updated, listens to their concerns, and works with them as true partners in care. The facility is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for safety and ease of navigation. I am so grateful to have found a community that treats residents like family. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be supported, valued, and genuinely cared for, I highly recommend this assisted living community. Their memory care program is exceptional.

Oakwood terrace is a wonderful facility. The activity director is always planning new ideas for the residents to engage with each other and the staff. The trips she has planned so far have been very fun and exciting. I have been fortunate to be a part of some of the trips and activities and have always had a fantastic time. The kitchen and food they produce is wonderful visually as well as tasty. The staff work hard to help the residents everyday feel happy and at home.

My sister has had three Respite stays at Oakwood this past year while some of the family members were on vacation. I have very high praise for the entire facility right from management, director, nursing staff, cleaning staff, activities director and food service. My apologies if I missed any department. My sister was very happy there, she “loved” the food and we are more than pleased and feel very secure when she is staying there during her respite period. Thanks to all the staff at Oakwood. You’re doing a great service for the residents and families.
