The Linden at Dedham

I had the pleasure of visiting the Charter Senior Living community in Dedham, MA yesterday. I was truly impressed by the facility and, even more so, by the genuinely caring staff. I left my visit feeling confident that my mom could really thrive in their memory care unit. Thank you to the team at CSL for spending time with me yesterday and answering all of my questions.

During one of the most difficult times for both me and my family, the Charter Senior Living in Dedham provided comfort. My father had spent a significant period of time within a behavioral facility in Southern Massachusetts and transitioned to this location. Specifically it was Dawn, Emily, and Lilly who were both incredibly knowledgable and supportive during the process. Despite his condition, my father is clearly more happy and fulfilled with the environment at Charter Senior Living. Especially given that the Memory Care unit is personalized, it truly is the ideal space for my father. All of the staff were able to clearly outline the daily care routine for my father in a calming manner. Since my dad has always been quite an active person, I am grateful that he has been involved in daily exercises since moving into Charter Senior Living.

Charter Senior Living truly stands out for the warmth and friendliness of its staff. From the moment you walk in, team members greet you with genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude that immediately puts you at ease. Their kindness and patience create an environment that feels more like a close-knit community than a facility. It’s clear that the people who work here truly care about the well-being and happiness of those they serve.

We are so happy with Charter Senion Living. Yes, it is in Dedham, my hometown, so it is very close. But the most important thing is the wonderful staff--from the Director down to the housekeeping staff. Jesica, the lead nurse, is fantastic. She was instrument on getting my brother settled there. Emily, who helped us overcome numerous obstacles with my brother's move, was extraordinary. Even after the move-in, she continues to be there to respond to questions. The house keeping staff and food service folks are great. They do their jobs well and have a supportive attitude. Most importantly, we are very happy with everything. Note, this is only the second five-star review I have ever given.

I are very grateful to have found Charter Senior Living of Dedham for my mom. I knew instantly when I walked in the door that it was different from the others. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Clean and beautiful. And not overwhelming. It has a cozy feel. The staff is fantastic! Emily was our "go to" (and still is) cheerfully answering all our questions and guiding us all the way! The day I brought my mom to her new "home", the staff laid out the red carpet and gave her the biggest welcome. It was amazing! The residents have been considerate to the newbie and my mom enjoys being a part of the daily activities. The aides are wonderful too! Very kind and treat my mom w/dignity. I am comforted knowing she is safe, engaged, and well cared for!
