The Residence at Melrose Station

I’ve had the privilege of running an intergenerational music class here for the past year, and the team has been nothing but supportive, thoughtful, and open to trying new ideas. You can feel how deeply they care about creating meaningful experiences for their residents - they consistently advocate for what will bring joy, connection, and real engagement to the people who call this community home. A warm, resident-first place with genuinely thoughtful leadership and staff.

My parents joined the community three years ago and we are so grateful. They were 93 and 95 at the time, and leaving a family home from out of state. It’s a vibrant community, . The staff are compassionate and kind and supported by vigilant administrators and they are enriched by active community and an engagement staff that truly looks to find shared interests and builds programming around that. A elderly couple poses a challenge, as their needs are different. The nursing, building staff, aides, and an entire community of friends have been very supportive in helping them to meet their primary stated goal “ to be together”. We can speak to all living options as we have progressed through all, the independent, assisted, and memory care. This is private pay and costly - you are choosing a quality of life option, and one must recognize that they provide very limited medical support, but we are very happy that our parents (grandparents -great grandparents) have found a true home here !

My mom lives in the memory care unit which is absolute wonderful to her! The staff is caring and kind and her personal care and room are well taken care of. She lived in independent living and moved over about a year ago and I was very nervous since it’s a hard step. I am very pleased, if you are going through this this home is wonderful.

Having a loved one moving on to their next chapter of life can be a difficult and stressful experience for the entire family. From our very first tour we knew that The Residence at Melrose Station was a special place. The leadership team and staff made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The staff has done an excellent job making our mom feel at home. They check in with her often to make sure she is doing okay and acclimating to her new home. There is a very positive atmosphere and the staff is kind, caring and compassionate. My mom looks forward to the daily activities sheet that comes out each morning - her favorite is the happy hour! It gives our family great peace of mind that she is happy in her new home, and is safe and well taken care of. We are lucky there are people like the team at The Residence. Thank you from our entire family!

We moved my Mom intro the Residence in February. The staff at the Residence did an outstanding job making a tough change of life for my Mom, a smooth and happy experience. We worked closely with Kathryn, Steven and Susan and they all gave us peace of mind that my Mom would be in an environment that cares about her. It always amazes me that all of the staff knows every resident’s name, and always greet them as they walk around the building. The environment is warm, friendly and inviting. The facility is beautiful, the dining options are great and there are a variety of fun activities for the residents to participate in. We are very happy that we chose The Residence at Melrose Station for my Mom.
