The Residence at Riverbend

We moved my dad here from South Carolina, so it was a big change, but he’s the happiest I’ve seen him in a long time. He feels comfortable and safe and it’s such a gift knowing that there are people looking out for him every day. His apartment is so cozy and clean and the rest of the property is bright, airy and beautiful. We always feel so welcome when we visit him (especially my two little kids, his grandkids) and are so grateful to have him so close.

A true gem! Riverbend is a beautiful facility. We feel so welcomed when we visit. Everyone goes above and beyond to assist you with any of your needs regarding your loved one. They go above and beyond to keep your LO safe, clean, comfortable, happy, engaged, well fed and loved! This is the first time in a year that we can take a breath knowing our LO is well cared for without us having to worry about or needing to being engaged in his day to day needs.

As difficult a decision as it was to move my parents into assisted living, I knew they would be well cared for here ... and that gives me peace of mind! I checked out and visited 6 different assisted living communities, but I knew immediately after stepping foot into Riverbend that this would be best for my parents. Everyone at Riverbend is so friendly, supportive, and responsive. The building looks and feels new, it is well kept, they offer many activities, and the food is very good. I really love the Residence at Riverbend!

We have had the best experience with The Residence at Riverbend. We recently placed my mother there and they have exceeded our expectations. First of all the director, Pamela was extremely friendly, professional, efficient and beyond helpful at helping us make the transition. She assisted us in making our choices and helping to calm any fears I or my mother had. The staff since our transition have been such a delight. They are friendly, professional and always are going the extra mile. Thank you to Pamela and her team for making such a hard life transition for us a pleasant experience. We are very happy with our decision and find comfort in such a fantastic team.

The Residence at Riverbend has been a wonderful experience for my father. The employees are extremely pleasant and helpful to residents as well as visitors. The food and dining environment is comparable to any fine dining establishment, complete with table linen and waitstaff. He has made many friends in a short amount of time and has enjoyed the various entertainment groups that perform for the residents. I would recommend the Residence at Riverbend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to live with plenty of options to be as active and social as you want but still have a room to call your own.
