Thirwood Place

My Mom has been at Thirwood Place for just short of four years. We cannot say enough positive things about her experience. From day one she has felt connected to the community. She thoroughly enjoys the numerous entertainment opportunities offered on a weekly basis. We have had the opportunity to enjoy several meals with her in the dining room. There are always a variety of choices and they are all delicious! And the dining room itself is beautiful with a very welcoming environment. But, the best part of Thirwood is the staff. Everyone is so attentive and caring to the residents. Our family feels so comfortable knowing our Mom is in a beautiful place where she feels safe, cared for and living an independent life in her senior years. Thank you to everyone at Thirwood Place. We appreciate you!

Before I arrived I gave thought to how I might best get to meet all the new people at Thirwood. I shouldn’t have worried. They made it their business to come forward to meet me. Very typical “Thirwood”

Thirwood Place is now what I call home; three years and counting. Like so many residents here, we all echo the same sentiment. Although we share the same space, more importantly, we share this common belief and have indeed become family. Credit is also due to the staff who believe they are privileged to make residents, “feel at home.” Two main components for achieving this goal are found in the varied activities that are available; and lest we forget, the meals are comparable to those of many fine dining establishments. Finally, Thirwood is a happy community where respect for one another is the cornerstone of all that is good.

As a mover moving people into Thirwood Place, I could not be more impressed with the staff. Kind generous and caring.from the front desk to maintenance and the kitchen. They made us lunch. First class all the way.

My Mom has been at Thirwood Place since October 2016. It is such a relief that she is being so well taken care of and in such a beautiful place. She has made some great new friends and thinks the staff is absolutely wonderful! She also loves the concerts and other musical entertainment! She raves about how delicious the food is and looks forward to dinner every night. She loves to go to the Country Store on Tuesday morning to sit with all the ladies and gentlemen to chat and catch up. My sister and I are both very happy that she chose Thirwood and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their parents.
