VICTORIAN VILLA

If you’re looking for a place for your elderly parent, I would definitely not recommend this place! My Mother has been there for a few months. She ended up in the Hospital about a month or so ago. The staff left her in her room all day, she hadn’t eaten, was soaked through her clothes & in pain. They let her go until evening before calling my sister to inform her they were calling an ambulance. She spent about a week in the Hospital, then a month in rehab before she returned to the Villa. She was there for literally 8 hours before she was back in the hospital in severe pain. When we went to speak to the Administrator Ladonna, she informed us that we expect too much from them. Really?!? We expected our Mother to be taken care of, she assured us Mom would be taken care of, she’d work with her because she wasn’t sure she could return to assisted living, instead, she was not given her Tramadol for her pain & was found on the floor screaming in pain. She took no responsibility for her not having given her, her pain medicine, which caused my mom to try to get up to find someone to get some medicine for her pain, instead she fell, ended up back in the hospital, which is where she still is. Every time we had a problem, we were asking too much. So if you want your parent taken care of & you don’t expect too much, them maybe you’d be ok here. Unfortunately we were less than happy with the care she received here & would definitely not recommend. This is both mine & my sisters opinion of this place.

A very unique community catering to the region with what feels like old- world charm, simple, clean, caring and responsive management.

Staff are attentive and truly care about their residents at this facility. Residents are actively engaged in activities and always have a smile on their face. This facility is clean and well managed. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful and well run facility, unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to have family reside there In the past as a family member entered hospice care and passed instead of entering a facility. I DO know the owners and can vouche for their character and managerial expertise. Regardless of any appearance of conflict of interest.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. If you love your parents/grandparents, you will not ever, send them to this facility. All they care about is their pay checks, not your family. Also the only 5 star review is that from the owners son, which is also a conflict of interest.
