Waterstone at Wellesley

This Wellesley community is ideal for anyone wishing to rent monthly in a friendly independent living community rather than participate in a buy-in at a CCRC. The location is ideal with both the natural beauty of the Charles River and yet walkable amenities. These include a pharmacy, restaurants, banks, gas station, cleaners and nail salons. It’s close to a major highway and less than a half hour into Boston. Every weekday there are classes in the pool and exercise classes; seven days a week a fitness center is available. There are daily activities, lectures, live music and films. The dining room is lovely and the food is fresh and delicious with a menu that changes daily. There’s a continental breakfast daily and “happy hour” twice a week. Other pluses include indoor parking, a storage unit in the basement and weekly housekeeping.

Our Mom was one of the first residents at Waterstone of Wellesley. She’s lived there for over 12 years. She loves it because there are always activities to participate in and she enjoys dining with her friends. We, as her children, appreciate the wonderful attention they provide her. My husband and I visited Waterstone Assisted Living Wellesley last week. We were impressed with all the offerings. For us the most important attributes are the quality of care (response time, staffing levels, longevities of staff as well as which is excellent and the resident environment - we met several residents in passing and all were outgoing, friendly and happy. Staff interacted easily with residents all of which made for a very friendly and outgoing atmosphere. There are tons of activities for residents as well. In addition, the apartments are well appointed and spacious. Common areas, of which there are many are beautiful with both indoor and outdoor spaces. The food is high quality and offers many options and variety for residents. We think my husband’s father would be very very happy here!
