Whitney Place at Natick

As a vendor and performer for senior living communities all over the nation, I’ve visited nearly every type of assisted living community imaginable; From independently owned to corporate, each establishment has positives and negatives, but rarely do I feel such a warm welcome and comfortable atmosphere as I did when walking into Whitney Place in Natick, Massachusetts. The staff, the sights, even the smell was welcoming and comfortable. It didn’t feel like a nursing home. It didn’t feel like a hotel. It felt like a home with a warm lobby and a team of people that cared. Everyone made eye contact with me, wondering who I was and what I was doing, and why I was bringing furniture into this establishment. Someone joked if I was moving in as a new resident, even though my age is clearly under what would be typical for a senior living community. In any event, it was all said with kindness, and the audience was generous with their energy, spirit, and time. I will gladly return to perform for the residents and staff of Whitney Place in Natick, Massachusetts again and again and I hope they’ll have me. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the management and staff of Whitney Place at Natick for the outstanding skilled nursing and rehabilitation care received by my late wife, Ann, at the Beaumont Center (March 2023-April 2024), when I was lucky to live in an apartment as an independent resident in the same complex while our house was being renovated, so that I could visit her daily. More recently, when she passed away in October 2025, Whitney Place at Natick warmly welcomed us, with open arms, and provided hands-on support, to host a celebration of life gathering for Ann, akin to a second homecoming for her, at the exquisite community room (thank you Josh Hammond, and also Iva Philbin and Garrett Faucher). The professional excellence demonstrated at all levels, driven by deep sense of caring, compassion, and respect, is the hallmark of Whitney Place at Natick. I was happy to find my friend so well situated in her lovely apartment in Whitney Place. The staff were helpful and friendly. The building well cared for and comfortable.

Super Staff and Awesome Audience! We especially want to thank the person who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMY, wear our ventriloquist face mask and help us sing our "No Bully Zone" original song with Chelsea The Chimpanzee. (No they did not sing at the same time.... we're not that good!) Our Halloween Show incorporated our Massachusetts 250th Anniversary tribute with our Paul Revere & Friends™ performance.

I come into Whitney Place in Natick from time to time for work to perform mobile x-rays, and I also have a cousin who lives here. It’s always a pleasure both professionally and personally. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring—they take great care of my cousin, which gives me real peace of mind. It’s a warm, welcoming environment, and I always leave feeling grateful for the work they do. Highly recommend Whitney Place for anyone considering assisted living.
