The Residence at Great Woods for Senior/Assisted Living represents the highest of standards for the care of our loved ones. They treat each resident and patient in need with utmost dignity, respect, go above and beyond the services even needed. They handle our family members as if they are their own and have the same approach in communicating with those of us who are/ were fortunate enough to be able to entrust them with that precious care. Great Woods is blessed with a staff of not only incredible, but dedicated and skilled professionals who possess the special qualities necessary to take care of the elderly who are struggling physically, medically and cognitively. Our dad was a resident there for 5 years, initially in the general senior/assisted living area. Later on his final year, his condition required him to be moved to the memory unit. To say that our expectations were exceeded would be an understatement. The staff went way beyond that. We will forever be grateful to the leadership and staff at Great Woods for the impeccable and outstanding care provided to to our dad, as well as the way our family was treated and communicated with during the entirety of his stay. The level of service and care your dear loved family member receives at Great Woods is second to none. They are simply the best and any decision to place your loved one there will never be second guessed. You will have peace of mind.

My husband was in the Memory Care Unit at the Residence at Great Woods for one month. There was poor communication between staff members and lack of training for staff members.These factors combined to create additional health problems for my husband, that raised the monthly rate that the facility charged. There are well run memory care units in the area. This isn't one of them. Your response simply isn't true and is reflected in my comment that communication was poor. Your staff didn't work with us at all. My husband's condition changed as a result of the lack of training for your staff. Now that he is receiving proper care, he has returned to his baseline and the health conditions that your staff facilitatated, have been resolved.

This memory CARE neglected my dad to almost death because they couldn’t handle him. Because they were to busy being reprimanded by corporate. Dehydrated and malnourished and the loss of 35 lbs in a month,I insisted they send him to the hospital. I could not rely on them any longer. While corporate sat there and told me I needed to pay more money for services and provide 24/7 care while there. I could go on and on but long story short, he is back in his own home with 24/7 care and doing as well as one can with Alzheimer’s can.Its not the pretty picture they paint you. If it wasn’t for one nurse they would not even get one star⭐️

The Residence at Great Woods has made what could have been a very difficult transition so much more manageable for our family. From the moment we inquired, the team was incredibly responsive and helpful. Every question was answered promptly, and they made the entire process feel seamless. The level of care our loved one is receiving is more than we ever thought was possible. The staff goes above and beyond every single day — they are not only professional and attentive but genuinely compassionate. It’s clear that they truly care about each resident’s well-being. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful — clean, warm, and welcoming, with thoughtful details that make it feel like home. We are so grateful to have found such a supportive and caring environment. Highly recommend The Residence at Great Woods to anyone looking for exceptional assisted living care.

As an author, I do a lot of in-person events to talk about my books, but my visit to The Residence at Great Woods was by far my favorite! I was bowled over by the staff, who were friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The Residence's facility is bright and warmly welcoming. And the best part of the day was the opportunity to meet the residents, who were a joy to chat with. They asked so many questions we could've talked all afternoon. Plus, we had tea and treats! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
