Wood Haven Senior Living

My wife, Anne, and I have been very impressed with the new renovations and fresh, clean atmosphere that greats us as we walk through the Wood Haven doors. The holiday transformation at the facility is a must see - so inviting and like a Winter Wonderland inside and out. The residents are happy and engaged and truly appear to love their surroundings. Caring and compassionate staff, including Activities Director Linda D. and her outstanding team of hands on assistants who keep the residents busy, attentive, and alert, are an integral part of the positive Wood Haven experience. My mother-in-law, who moved in last year, is thriving in her new surroundings and especially loves the multiple Bingo games that are played weekly. We are very grateful to the Wood Haven staff for going the extra mile, daily, to ensure patient safety and contentment. Thank you to everyone at Wood Haven!!!

My mother started living at Peregrine’s August of 2016. I looked at so many places but this was the best fit for her. Everyone was so kind, caring, helpfull, positive, and just all around great to her and us. I could not have chosen a better place for her. My mother recently passed away and everyone there was so kind and compassionate and I thank them for making it easier for our family I thank everyone who took such good care of my mother and made us feel at ease They are not just people who work there. An old boss once said 'hiring is the most important thing we do' - well, that is certainly the case at Peregrine Senior Living. My dad has been here for respite care and I can say unequivocally that this is the best senior living facility I've ever been in. Every employee I have interacted with truly cares about the residents and their well being. Clearly, this is no accident. The facility is laid out for memory care and offers frequent 'learning' seminars about dementia (what it is, caring for loved ones, environmental design, etc) . There are always activities for the residents, table bowling, sing alongs, movies, crafts, football game gatherings, family holiday dinners and etc. The nursing staff keeps a close eye on the residents and promptly informs you of any issue that may need to be looked at more closely. Kudos to all the employees at this facility for making it 'best in class'.

By far the worst of the worst...the staff is rude and not forthcoming...the place is dirty despite the renovations the new owners took on...the administration located in NY refused to meet with family after we demanded answers regarding a very large and deep colored bruise on our loved one's body....no accountability...I am not sure what the credentials are to run/manage a memory care facility, but I would like to think a high school vocational school doesn't qualify for enough educational background to run an establishment.

We have had an amazing experience since the first day we toured the facility.. n my nana has become a whole new woman since she's been there. It's so clean, the staff is so pleasant n helpful n friendly each time we r visiting. We r so happy n blessed nana gets to live out her time in such a wonderful facility!!!!
